MP Rizvan Nabiyev: OTS is Strengthening Its International Positions


Baku: The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is strengthening its international positions, as declared by MP Rizvan Nabiyev, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations. The announcement was made at the 2nd Cooperation Forum of NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, as reported by APA.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, MP Nabiyev highlighted that new partnerships, opportunities, and prospects for cooperation are being explored within the ‘Organization of Turkic States plus’ framework. He stressed the importance of developing new concepts that blend classical and public diplomacy. Nabiyev elaborated on the dual approach to peace initiatives: the creation of platforms for Track 1 diplomacy, which involves classical diplomatic activities, and Track 2 diplomacy, which includes public, science, and cultural diplomacy, emphasizing that both tracks are complementary.



Nabiyev also pointed out an upcoming international forum under the United Nations, set to begin in Baku in two days, which has garnered significant attention. This forum aims to showcase efforts directed at the restoration of territories liberated from occupation, with the affected country having suffered damages exceeding USD 150 billion.
