Karabakh: Moldovan Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Alexander Esaulenko, expressed his impressions during his sixth visit to the Karabakh region, noting the significant number of new projects and infrastructure developments observed within a short period.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Esaulenko shared his mixed emotions during the visit, acknowledging the tragedy that occurred in the region while also celebrating the progress made since. He congratulated the people and leadership of Azerbaijan on achieving long-term sustainable peace in Karabakh, describing it as a triumph of historical justice. The ambassador noted that former residents have returned to the region and now live in peaceful and comfortable conditions.
The ambassador also addressed the bilateral relations between Moldova and Azerbaijan. He highlighted the recent visit of the Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs to Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance Moldova places on these relations. He expressed optimism for future developments, describing Moldova and Azerbaijan as brotherly countries that support each other on international platforms.
