Magnitude 5.2 Quake Shakes Trkiye’s ‚¬Å¡¬¡anakkale

‚¬Å¡¬¡anakkale: A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook Trkiye’s northwestern ‚¬Å¡¬¡anakkale province late Tuesday, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said, APA reports quoting Daily Sabah. The seismic event occurred at 11:38 p.m. local time.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the earthquake’s epicenter was located in the Aegean Sea, approximately 6 kilometers off the coast of ‚¬Å¡¬¡anakkale’s Ayvacik district. AFAD has not reported any adverse situations thus far and continues to conduct field assessment efforts in the region.
