Baku: Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, pursued under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, is decisive, consistent, and aimed at ensuring national interests. As a result of this policy, the country has expanded bilateral and multilateral cooperation formats and further solidified its position on the global stage, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during his remarks at a press conference dedicated to the outcomes of 2025.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov highlighted the substantial achievements related to the peace agenda with Armenia this year. He added that hosting international events has enhanced Azerbaijan’s political influence in the global arena and its image as a reliable partner.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized that developing relations with neighboring states remains a key priority of the country’s foreign policy. He noted that although there was some tension in relations with Russia over the past year following the shooting down of the AZAL aircraft, this tension has significantly eased.
