Nakhchivan: Edmondo Cirielli, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, strongly condemned Iran’s drone attack on Nakhchivan Airport in Azerbaijan. Cirielli noted that two people were injured and civilian infrastructure was damaged.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Cirielli expressed full solidarity with the Government and people of Azerbaijan over this serious incident. He stated that targeting civilian infrastructure is unacceptable, irresponsible, and criminal. The attack has been added to Iran’s recent series of terror attacks in the Gulf and the region, which deliberately strike infrastructure and civilians in blatant disregard of international law.
