Informal Meeting of OTS Council of Foreign Ministers Held on Antalya Diplomacy Forum Sidelines


Antalya: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Bayramov Jeyhun, attended and addressed the Informal Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Minister highlighted the increasing importance of regional cooperation amidst widespread geopolitical fragmentation and ongoing conflicts. The discussion underscored the significance of regular informal CFM meetings, along with the ‘OTS+’ format, which was established at the Gabala Summit in October 2025 and further operationalized in Istanbul in March 2026. This format is considered a valuable tool for fostering inclusive and strategic partnerships among member states.



The meeting, which was held at the V Antalya Diplomacy Forum, saw participation from various foreign ministers, including Azerbaijan’s Jeyhun Bayramov. The informal gathering provided a platform for the participants to discuss and address pressing regional issues and enhance cooperation within the OTS framework.
