He emphasized Azerbaijan’s role as a significant player in the global efforts to combat climate change, especially as the host of COP29 and a major oil and gas producer.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mistry highlighted that Azerbaijan is focusing on the transition to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The country is actively implementing policies and regulations that are in alignment with international standards, showcasing its dedication to reducing the environmental impact of the aviation industry.
