Head of State Expresses Disappointment Over Lack of Response from Russia on AZAL Plane Crash


Baku: “Unfortunately, we have not received any response from Russia regarding the AZAL plane crash in Aktau,” President Ilham Aliyev stated during a meeting with participants of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, APA reports.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that it has been 7 months since the incident occurred. He emphasized that the details of the crash are clear to the Azerbaijani authorities, asserting that they have evidence of what transpired. Furthermore, he mentioned that Russian officials are also well-informed about the incident.



The head of state expressed that Azerbaijan’s request for a response was a natural expectation from a neighboring country. President Aliyev’s comments reflect ongoing concerns and the need for communication and resolution regarding the incident involving the AZAL plane crash.
