Baku: First Lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, alongside First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic Aigul Zhaparova, First Lady of the Republic of Trkiye Emine Erdogan, First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and First Lady of the People’s Republic of China Peng Liyuan, visited the Ala Archa State Residence in Bishkek on September 1.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the visit was marked by a warm welcome from First Lady Aigul Zhaparova, who introduced the esteemed guests to a captivating exhibition showcasing the handicrafts of Kyrgyz artisans. The exhibition highlighted the rich cultural heritage, unique traditions, and centuries-old craftsmanship that define the national character of the Kyrgyz people.
The displayed handicrafts included felt products, traditional household items, and various works by folk artisans. These items reflected the diversity and vibrancy of Kyrgyz decorative and applied arts, offering the visiting first ladies a glimpse into the cultural tapestry of the nation.
