Baku:The European Investment Bank (EIB) is interested in exploring investment opportunities in Azerbaijan’s mining sector, focusing particularly on critical raw materials. Stella Renita, Head of the EIB Group Regional Representation for the South Caucasus, expressed this interest in an interview.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Renita emphasized the EIB’s readiness to discuss potential investments with the Azerbaijani side, although no formal discussions have taken place yet. She stated that the bank would welcome the opportunity to engage in such talks.
Renita also highlighted other sectors in Azerbaijan that attract the EIB’s interest, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and connectivity projects.
