Shamakhi: An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 occurred in the Shamakhi and Khizi districts, APA reports citing the Seismological Service Center.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the earthquake, which took place at 10:18 local time, had its epicenter at a depth of 5 km. The tremor was felt at a magnitude of 4 in the epicenter and 3-4 in the surrounding districts.
Several underground tremors have been recorded in the territories of Shamakhi and Khizi districts since yesterday.
