Khankendi: Mine clearance and unexploded ordnance clearance activities in the city of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts were one of the most difficult processes, said Elchin Yusubov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts. He made these remarks at the event on the Post-conflict Urban Development: Restoring a Destroyed Identity and Rebuilding an Integrated Future, organized at the Azerbaijan pavilion as part of the WUF13.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Yusubov specified that a total of 1,456 hectares in Khankendi, 10,359 hectares in Aghdara, and 9,874 hectares in Khojaly have successfully been cleared of mines and unexploded military ordnance.
