Baku:Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Manet emphasized the complementary economic strengths of Cambodia and Azerbaijan, highlighting potential for commercial cooperation at the Azerbaijan-Cambodia Business Forum.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Hun Manet pointed out that Azerbaijan excels in energy, petrochemicals, renewable energy, agricultural technologies, logistics, and digital infrastructure. In contrast, Cambodia is recognized for its dynamic manufacturing sector, developed agriculture, youthful workforce, increasing use of clean energy, and advantageous trade access to regional markets.
He noted that while economic cooperation between the two nations is still in its infancy, there are significant opportunities for growth. The focus should be on expanding traded goods and services, fostering direct business contacts, and exploring new investment areas.
Hun Manet expressed confidence that increased public and private sector engagement could help both countries tap into the full potential of their economic cooperation, leading to a more dynamic and mutually beneficial partnership. He also stressed the importance of raising awareness about business environments and opportunities in Cambodia and Azerbaijan.
