Baku: A Bulgarian Defense Ministry delegation visited Azerbaijan as part of a bilateral military cooperation plan signed between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria for 2026. The meeting focused on exchanging practices concerning cultural and social affairs of military personnel, as well as the effective use of holiday, leave, and recreational facilities, as reported by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense to AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ideological Support Department of the Main Department for Personnel of the Ministry of Defense. The Azerbaijani side briefed the Bulgarian delegation on the measures undertaken within the Azerbaijan Army to ensure the effective organization of military personnel’s leisure time.
Both sides also exchanged views on the prospects for further developing existing cooperation in this area. The meeting concluded with the exchange of gifts and a commemorative group photograph.
