Baku: Orientation meetings with first-year students admitted to Baku Engineering University (BEU) this year are continuing, with the latest session focusing on those enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering. Faculty Dean Asif Guliyev addressed the students, extending congratulations from the university leadership and wishing them success in their academic journey.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Dean Guliyev provided comprehensive information about BEU’s educational offerings, highlighting the faculty’s activities, teaching methodologies, and the supportive environment designed for student success. He encouraged students to maximize their university experience and strive for academic excellence.
The meeting underscored the necessity of academic growth, active engagement in the educational process, and acquiring contemporary knowledge and skills. Students were briefed on BEU’s electronic management system, internal rules, teaching infrastructure, and the revamped laboratory facilities available in engineering and other fields.
Discussions also covered the resources available for organizing students’ academic and social activities within BEU’s expansive and modern campus. The event concluded with an English-language proficiency test for students in the faculty’s English-language sections, aimed at grouping them according to proficiency levels to facilitate effective language skill development.
