Azerbaijan’s Petroleum Product Export Revenues Experience Sharp Increase

Baku: Azerbaijan’s petroleum product exports saw a significant rise in both volume and value in January of this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan exported 44,723.93 tons of petroleum products, generating revenues of 32,207.98 thousand US dollars. This marks a 68.3% increase in value and a nearly 7.4% rise in volume compared to the same period of 2025.

Oil processing in Azerbaijan is conducted at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, which was established in 1953. The refinery fulfills the entire domestic demand for petroleum products. Currently, efforts are underway to reconstruct and modernize the facility to enhance its production capabilities.
