Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the significance of relations with the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a central component of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy. This statement was made during a meeting with the Heads of Government and Vice Presidents from the OTS member states.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev underscored the historical, cultural, and ethnic connections that serve as a strong basis for these international relations. He pointed out that, as independent nations, the member states of the OTS consistently present a unified stance in global forums and extend mutual support to one another. This cooperation is seen as a priority for Azerbaijan as it continues to strengthen its ties within the region.
