Baku: Azerbaijani representative Azada Atakishiyeva, competing in the junior category, has won a gold medal at the “AGF Trophy” international rhythmic gymnastics tournament. She achieved this feat by excelling in the ribbon discipline, reaching the top of the podium. Earlier in the tournament, Atakishiyeva had also secured a second-place finish in the execution of ball exercises.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani team demonstrated strong performance throughout the tournament, with the senior category team earning a silver medal yesterday. The competition has drawn participation from gymnasts representing 15 countries and is set to conclude today.
