Chicago: An event promoting Azerbaijani culture was held at the Chicago-Kent College of Law of the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, U.S. The event was organized by Azerbaijani alumni and students at the faculty, sponsored by the Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America (ACMA).
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was attended by Jason Czarnezki, Dean of the Faculty; Adam Weber, Associate Dean of International Programs; Tahir Bora Atatanir, Consul General of Trkiye in Chicago; Fatih Yardimcioglu, Education Attach© of the Consulate General in Chicago; as well as co-chairs of ACMA, Farid Mammadov and Mehriban Mammadova.
The attendees were provided with information about the history, national flag, culture, and music of Azerbaijan. The event culminated in a concert program featuring performances of Azerbaijani mugham, a traditional genre of music.
