Kyiv: Azerbaijani citizen Shahlar Jabbarov, accused of fraud, will be extradited from Ukraine to Azerbaijan, APA reports. He is facing allegations related to repeated fraud that caused significant financial damage.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Prosecutor General’s Office stated that Shahlar Jabbarov was placed on an international wanted list through Interpol. This was due to his efforts to evade the investigation by going into hiding. Ukrainian authorities detained Jabbarov in response to the international alert.
Currently, measures are being taken to facilitate his extradition to Azerbaijan. This step is part of ongoing efforts to ensure accountability and address the charges against him.
