Tehran:A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, was received by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Deputy PM Shahin Mustafayev conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to President Pezeshkian. In response, Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for the greetings and requested Mustafayev to extend his best wishes to the Azerbaijani President.
The discussions highlighted the significance of shared history and cultural connections in establishing a strong foundation for bilateral relations. Both officials praised the ongoing friendship and good neighborliness between the two nations and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including economic, trade, transport, and energy.
