Brazzaville: Sultan Hajiyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kenya, with residence in Nairobi, participated in the swearing-in ceremony of Congo’s re-elected President Denis Sassou-Nguesso in the capital city of Brazzaville. The event was attended by more than 10 heads of state and government from across Africa, alongside representatives from various world leaders.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ambassador Sultan Hajiyev conveyed congratulations and sincere greetings from President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to President Denis Sassou-Nguesso. He expressed his confidence in the further development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Congo.
President Denis Sassou-Nguesso requested that his deep respect and best wishes be conveyed to President Ilham Aliyev. He thanked Ambassador Hajiyev for representing the Government of Azerbaijan at the ceremony and emphasized the importance of further strengthening the existing cooperation between the two nations.
