Baku: In January-February of this year, 2.9 million tons of cargo and 1,413.6 thousand passengers were transported by rail in Azerbaijan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing a monthly report of the State Statistics Committee, compared to the same period in 2024, there was a 1% decrease in cargo transportation and a 12.1% increase in passenger transportation during the reporting period.
