Havana beach: The ‘See Breeze 2026’ International Beach Polo Tournament continued at Havana Beach, Sea Breeze Resort, with Azerbaijan’s ‘Elite’ club securing a victory over Russia’s ‘Moscow’ team with a score of 7-3 during the second match of the day.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the first match saw Switzerland’s ‘St. Moritz’ narrowly defeat Britain’s ‘Red Star’ with a score of 7-6. The tournament is a collaboration between the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation (ARAF) and Sea Breeze, featuring four teams from Azerbaijan, the UK, Switzerland, and Russia. A total of 12 polo players are participating, with team rosters that include players from Azerbaijan, the UK, Switzerland, Russia, Argentina, and South Africa.
The tournament is scheduled to run until September 13, providing a platform for international polo athletes to showcase their skills at this prestigious event.
