Baku: In January this year, Azerbaijan imported locally produced goods from Georgia worth 9.23 million US dollars.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the imports represent a year-on-year reduction of 8.3% in the supply of products manufactured in Georgia.
Last month, with a 3% share in Georgia’s domestic exports, Azerbaijan ranked among the country’s top ten local export partners. The top three importers of Georgian products were China, Trkiye, and Russia. During the reporting month, Georgia exported locally produced goods worth a total of 480.4 million US dollars, marking a 19% increase compared to the same period last year.
The top ten locally produced goods exported from Georgia included oil and petroleum oils, precious metal ores and concentrates, copper ores and concentrates, ferroalloys, hazelnuts, alcoholic beverages, gold, natural unsweetened mineral and carbonated waters, fresh grape wine, and mineral and carbonated waters with added sugar.
