Azerbaijan PM Ali Asadov Meets OTS Secretary General to Discuss Expanding Cooperation


Baku: Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev on April 1, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA. The meeting focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States, emphasizing its growing role as a multilateral platform.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions highlighted the significant expansion of cooperation among member states of the organization in various fields, including political, economic, transport, energy, and humanitarian sectors. Both parties acknowledged the progress made in recent years and the importance of maintaining this momentum.



The meeting also addressed ongoing efforts to further develop cooperation during Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the OTS. The leaders noted the importance of enhancing the organization’s international standing, indicating a commitment to continue building on the successes achieved so far.
