Baku: Azerbaijan has reduced the tariffs under the “Green Card” for vehicles from Georgia and Kazakhstan, APA-Economics reports. A change has been made to the Central Bank’s decision “On determining the amount of the one-time payment paid by insurers wishing to operate within the Green Card System to the account related to the current liabilities reserve formed by the Compulsory Insurance Bureau, and on determining the insurance premiums to be applied by insurers authorized to operate within the Green Card System.”
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decision was signed by the Chairman of the Central Bank, Taleh Kazimov. The insurance premiums envisaged for vehicles registered in Georgia and Kazakhstan traveling to Trkiye, Iran, Belarus, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine under the “Green Card” agreements have been reduced.
In addition, insurance premiums for vehicles registered in Georgia and Kazakhstan traveling to other countries included in the system under the “Green Card” agreements have been updated.
