Azerbaijan Initiates New Resettlement Convoy to Oratagh Village

Aghdara: In a significant move under the ‘Great Return’ Program, Azerbaijan dispatched another resettlement convoy to Oratagh village in the Aghdara district on April 14. The Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Khankendi city, along with the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly, reported this development to APA’s Karabakh bureau.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the latest relocation involved nine families, comprising 56 individuals, returning to the village of Ashagi Oratag. These former internally displaced persons expressed their gratitude for the modern living conditions established for them in their native lands.

Notably, large-scale restoration and reconstruction projects are actively progressing in Aghdara, similar to other territories liberated from occupation. Efforts include the comprehensive restoration of individual residences, construction of new social facilities, and the reconstruction of educational and healthcare institutions. Additionally, modern communal infrastructure is being developed in the villages to ensure residents have access to comfortable, safe, and decent living conditions. Employment for returning citizens remains a priority, with measures being implemented to offer job opportunities in both the public and private sectors for families in need.
