Jabrayil: The relocation convoy sent on May 16 has successfully reached Shukurbeyli village in the Jabrayil district, delivering keys to new apartments to 18 families comprising 77 individuals.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the families had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country before their relocation to Shukurbeyli.
The ceremony to hand over the apartment keys was attended by representatives from the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, as well as officials from the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons. This event marks a significant step in the phased return of internally displaced persons to their native lands.
The relocation is a part of the Great Return program, aimed at resettling families in territories that were liberated from occupation. The program continues to facilitate the return of displaced individuals to their original homes.
