Baku:Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Director General Agil Gurbanov, participated in the ADEX 2026 – the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition. The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of T¼rkiye, Army General Sel§uk Bayraktaroglu, along with commanders from the Turkish Naval, Land, and Air Forces.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the guests explored the exhibitions by Turkish defense industry companies, examining various weapons, military equipment, aircraft, and aerial platforms showcased during the event.
Director General Agil Gurbanov also conducted a meeting with Major General Andis Dilans, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Latvian National Armed Forces. The discussions highlighted ADEX 2026 as a crucial venue for creating new partnerships in the defense sector, discussing cutting-edge technologies, and enhancing bilateral relations.
The meeting between Director General Gurbanov and the Latvian delegation focused on potential cooperation in defense industry and security, with both parties exchanging views on shared interests.
