Abu dhabi: Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency, met with Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and the UAE Media Council, during the BRIDGE media and content industry summit held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The meeting focused on enhancing media cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ahmad Ismayilov highlighted the current state of cooperation in media and communications between the two nations. He emphasized the importance of expanding the exchange of information and experience, as well as strengthening interaction between media entities. Ismayilov noted that such an institutional partnership would lay the groundwork for joint projects and improve the efficiency of collaborative activities.
Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed discussed the priority areas of media policy in the UAE, including digital transformation and initiatives within the framework of international media cooperation. He commended the development of relations with Azerbaijan in the media sector and noted that the established cooperation would present new opportunities for both countries.
The discussions also covered the exchange of information and experience, collaboration on initiatives and projects of mutual interest, and the organization of meetings, seminars, training sessions, and conferences.
