Baku: Elnur Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Economy, recently engaged in discussions with representatives from Spain’s Santander Bank to explore avenues for economic cooperation between the two nations. The meeting underscored the significance of the financial sector in fostering bilateral economic relations and the implementation of joint projects.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions reviewed the financing of investment projects in Azerbaijan, with a focus on potential support from multilateral financial institutions. The meeting also explored the possibility of collaborating with Santander Bank to facilitate these investments.
In addition to financing, the talks covered measures to promote and support investment in Azerbaijan, among other topics of mutual interest to both parties. This dialogue marks a step forward in enhancing economic ties and exploring new opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Spain.
