Moscow:Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev met with Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Russia Igor Krasnov to discuss enhancing legal cooperation between the two countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting in Moscow on September 29 emphasized the importance of the friendly and trusting relations between Azerbaijan and Russia’s leaders, which foster bilateral ties. The discussions highlighted the ongoing strategic partnership and allied cooperation across various sectors.
Kamran Aliyev praised the long-standing cooperation between the prosecutorial authorities of Azerbaijan and Russia, noting effective collaboration in areas such as mutual legal assistance, crime prevention, and the exchange of operational expertise and information.
The meeting focused on expanding institutional ties, legal education, and professional personnel training. Both parties explored opportunities for joint scientific and practical events, training programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Igor Krasnov expressed a strong interest in advancing long-term, constructive collaboration with Azerbaijani counterparts, expressing confidence that the meeting would further strengthen ties between the relevant authorities.
To conclude the meeting, Kamran Aliyev presented Igor Krasnov with the Medal of Azerbaijan “For Effective Cooperation with Prosecution Bodies.”
