Seoul: A delegation from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance paid a working visit to Seoul, Korea, from April 12 to 17. The visit featured seminars and training sessions on international experience in digital public financial management and the application of advanced technological solutions.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, discussions during the visit focused on strengthening the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) technical capacity, modern digital treasury solutions, the capabilities of the ‘dBrain+’ platform, and technical advisory projects. The exchanges also included sharing international experiences in digitizing public financial control and treasury processes.
The sides agreed to cooperate on developing a new treasury system and introducing the ‘e-Control’ platform in Azerbaijan. This initiative aims to digitalize financial oversight and improve transparency, control, and decision-making in public finance. The effort is seen as a key step by the Ministry of Finance in modernizing the public financial management system, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing institutional capacity.
