Baku: The Azerbaijan Air Force is set to conduct training flights involving unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Baku city and the Absheron district. This exercise is part of the 2026 training plan, as announced by the Ministry of Defense.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the UAV training flights will take place at around 16:00 on March 23. The Ministry of Defense assured the public that there is no need for alarm regarding the UAV activity expected in the sky and emphasized that the situation is under control.
The Ministry further urged residents not to be concerned, advising that the observed UAV movements are part of scheduled exercises aimed at enhancing operational readiness and capabilities of the Azerbaijan Air Force.
