Armenian Landmine Terrorism Killed 41 in Azerbaijan in 2024: Prosecutor General’s Office

Baku: 41 people have become victims of mining terrorism committed by Armenia, said Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, today at a large Board meeting dedicated to the struggle against crime by the prosecution authorities in 2024. The meeting focused on the investigation and condition of the work carried out in fields under the prosecutor’s control and discussions of the duties to be done, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Prosecutor General stated that 41 people had been victims of explosions from mines and military ammunition in 2024. Of these victims, 5 have died, and 36 people have suffered various degrees of bodily injuries.

The General Prosecutor further revealed that since November 2020, a total of 382 people have been affected by mines and military ammunitions. Out of these, 70 individuals have lost their lives, while 312 have sustained various degrees of bodily injuries.
