Baku: Azerbaijan-Trkiye relations are deepening in all areas, as stated by Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgn during the ‘Invision Design Talks 2’ forum, APA-Economics reports. He highlighted the steady expansion in cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye across political, economic, cultural, and energy spheres.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ambassador remarked on the significant shift in relations following the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020 and the subsequent liberation of Karabakh. This period marked the beginning of a new phase in the bilateral relationship between the two nations. The signing of the Shusha Declaration in 2021 further solidified Azerbaijan and Trkiye as strategic allies, he noted.
Birol Akgn pointed out that the collaborative efforts led by the leadership of both countries have set a precedent for the Turkic world. He mentioned upcoming events like the 13th World Urban Forum in Baku and COP31 in Antalya, which are expected to enhance international cooperation further.
The ambassador also highlighted the current rise of the Turkic world and emphasized the importance of science, art, culture, and aesthetics in this evolution. He underscored that as a common vision for the future is shaped, these elements should be integrated into urban development and architecture.
