Baku: Agricultural production in Azerbaijan experienced a slight increase in January, with the total value of agricultural products reaching 582.6 million manat at actual prices.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported that livestock production accounted for 549.8 million manats of the total, while crop production contributed 32.8 million manats.
Compared to the same period in the previous year, the overall agricultural output in Azerbaijan saw a 0.1% growth. This growth was mainly driven by a 5.6% increase in crop production. However, there was a slight decline in livestock production, which decreased by 0.3%.
