Accra:Agricultural products valued at 11 billion 905.3 million manats were produced from January to September this year. The physical volume of agricultural production rose by 1.1 percent compared to the same period last year, as reported by the State Statistical Committee.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, livestock production saw an increase of 1.9 percent, while crop production grew by 0.5 percent. Crop production constituted 51 percent of the total agricultural output, with livestock making up the remaining 49 percent.
During the January-August period, the growth rate was 2.6 percent, which decreased to 1.1 percent by the end of September. Growth in the crop sector dropped from 3.1 percent to 0.5 percent, and the livestock sector’s growth declined slightly from 2.0 percent to 1.9 percent.
