Agreement Signed on Establishment of Union of Accounting and Audit Professional Regulatory Bodies of Turkic States

Baku: Azerbaijan, Trkiye, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have signed an Agreement on the establishment of the Union of Accounting and Audit Professional Regulatory Bodies of Turkic States. The document was signed by key representatives from each country’s auditing bodies, marking a significant step towards enhanced cooperation in the field of accounting and auditing among these nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Agreement was signed by Chairman of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Vahid Novruzov, Vice President of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority of the Republic of Trkiye (KGK) Hayrettin Kurt, Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sapar Koshkimbayev, and Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan Nematulla Karimov.

The signing took place on September 16 during an event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Chamber of Auditors and coincided with an international scientific-practical conference on the theme ‘Development Stages of Audit: The Path from Compliance to Strategic Partnership and Trust.’ This initiative aims to foster greater collaboration and alignment in regulatory practices across the region, leveraging shared cultural and economic ties.
