Yerevan hosted reception on occasion of 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan
On the day of the First President the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia hosted a reception on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.
Deputy Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan was a guest of honor. The ceremony was attended by the deputies of the National Assembly of Armenia, heads of the ministries and departments, heads of the diplomatic missions, representatives of business and public circles, Kazakh citizens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Urazayev noted Kazakhstan’s achievements over the years of independence, especially in the area of peace and stability in the society, the creation of the equal conditions for all its citizens, regardless of the social status, ethnicity, and religion. President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s strategy, aimed at carrying out a peaceful foreign policy, an active position in the field of nuclear disarmament and the fight against terrorism, as well as the sustained economic growth of the economy promote a positive image of Kazakhstan in the world.
The Ambassador invited the guests to attend next year’s Winter Universiade in Almaty and the International specialized exhibition “EXPO-2017” in Astana.
E. Naghdalyan congratulated all Kazakhstanis on the Independence Day and praised the level of the modern development of the country and society. The Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia said that Armenia and Kazakhstan for 25 years of independent development have managed to preserve the historically determined ties of friendship and today continue to develop the mutually beneficial cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
As part of the celebrations the participants of the meeting were shown videos about modern Kazakhstan. There was a photo exhibition dedicated to the tourism potential of Kazakhstan.
