Y. Ilyin: All shopping facilities with a large number of customers have undergone fire safety inspections
Today at a press conference in the Government press center, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yury Ilyin reported on the results of state inspections of fire safety at facilities gathering a large number of customers.
Civil protection authorities have completed inspections of the fire safety of shopping facilities with a large number of customers.
In total, 1243 facilities have undergone inspections in the country, which identified more than 15 thousand violations of fire safety requirements. Administrative fines were imposed in the amount of more than 19 million tenge, � Y. Ilyin said.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs noted that upon completion of the inspections, the personnel, security structures and visitors are subjected to mandatory instructions on observance of fire safety requirements and fire drills.
To date, more than 41 thousand people have undergone training. Moreover, 494 fire drills were conducted at large shopping facilities by firefighting services. Yury Ilyin said that to date, following the deadline for eliminating violations, control inspections were carried out at 120 facilities, of which 98 fully comply with regulations.
The violations were not eliminated in full at 22 facilities. For non-compliance with the requirements, these facilities were subjected to administrative liability under part 3 of Article 462 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and the materials were sent to courts for further action. Along with a fine of 100 to 500 MCI, depending on the category of legal entity, at the discretion of the judge, a sanction is provided in the form of suspension of operation of the facility for up to three months.
According to Y. Ilyin, inspections of state and private education facilities are conducted in parallel, in accordance with the schedule and instructions of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
To date, 7603 educational facilities have been inspected out of 11 541. More than 33 thousand violations were found (33 177). No violations were detected at 1344 facilities. The work will continue. It is planned to complete this work during June-July.
At the same time, in connection with the completion of the school year and the beginning of the summer holidays, the Committee for Emergency Situations began inspecting all school, pre-school health camps in order to ensure the safety of children during their stay.
