Working visit of Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova to Akmola region

As part of the visit G.Abdykalikova took part in the enlarged session of the Akmola region Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (APK), dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.

The event was also attended by akim of Akmola region, the chairman of the regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan S.Kulagin, the APK Vice-Chairman and Head of the Secretariat E.Tugzhanov, members of the APK and the Regional Assembly, representatives of ethno-cultural associations and the regional public.

In her welcome speech the Secretary of State pointed out that over a quarter of a century under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev the nation had made a phenomenal breakthrough in building a democratic state and set the challenging task of entering the top 30 most developed countries. There are necessary foundations for strengthening and developing Kazakhstan’s identity and unity on the principle of citizenship.

G. Abdykalikova pointed to the work of the Akmola region’s Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, which unites more than 100 opinion leaders. More than 40 ethno-cultural organizations contribute to the implementation of Mangilik El nationwide patriotic idea.

At the end of the working visit the Secretary of State has given specific orders to the governmental authorities.
