Workers’ professions to be taught by high school students in Astana
The main purpose of introducing the vocational training at the school is to provide the vocational guidance and self-determination for schoolchildren.
On the basis of the college, the schoolchildren of the city are trained according to the profile of the “seamstress”, since the institution has an appropriate base.
“Profile training is beneficial to us. After all, this is the career-oriented work. Many children expressed a desire to continue their education. Firstly, they go out of the competition because they have already had the necessary basics. Here is a creative approach. We do not have such a mass tailoring, as in factories”, B. Pshenova said.
Each of the works has its own special, individual handwriting. The schoolchildren can themselves design a sketch, choose fabrics, accessories.
Student of the secondary school No. 61 in Astana Saida Zhenissova attends sewing skills courses. She noted that the technical training project, which involves two years of professional training, was launched in January last year.
“Some of my classmates preferred the specialty “computer operator”, others, including myself, decided to master the basics of sewing skills. At the courses we comprehend the subtleties of design skills: we learn modeling, the relation of the styles of clothes with the parameters of the figure. These skills are sure to help me. After all, I plan to become a designer, to create my own collection of Kazakh modern clothes and present it on the world’s catwalks. Classes are held once a week”, the student said.
The schoolchildren receive theoretical knowledge at the school, practical knowledge – on the basis of the college.
We remind that in “Kamkor Lokomotiv” LLP students of transport and communications of the city of Astana also pass industrial practice within the dual training system.
