Warsaw is important partner in EU and Central Europe

According to the press service of the Senate, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan Sergey Gromov thanked Poland for its active participation in the international exhibition EXPO-2017, where the best world technologies in the sphere of alternative energy and the “green economy” are presented.

S. Gromov noted that Warsaw is an important partner of our country in the European Union and Central Europe. In his opinion, the visit of President of Poland Andrzej Duda to Astana scheduled for September will help to promote promising areas of cooperation. The vice-speaker of the Kazakh Senate acquainted the Polish delegation with the constitutional powers of the upper chamber of Kazakh Parliament and the main directions of political and socio-economic reforms in our country. During the conversation, the prospects of bilateral contacts in the economic and humanitarian spheres were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of inter-parliamentary relations.

Maria Koc highly appreciated the level of mutual understanding achieved between our states and stated the need to continue the inter-parliamentary dialogue between Kazakhstan and Poland.
