Warsaw hosted concert of “Astana Ballet” in honor of first President of Kazakhstan

The Grand Opera House in Warsaw with the assistance of the Kazakh Embassy in Poland hosted the first performance of the creative team “Astana Ballet” timed to the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of Independence.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland Altai Abibullayev and director of the Grand Opera House in Warsaw Waldemar Dabrowski addressed to the guests with the welcoming speech. Among the invitees there was Minister of the Environment of Poland Jan Szyszko, the Polish MPs, the representatives of the state bodies, the Government and Ministries, the Honorary Consuls of Kazakhstan in Poland in Gdansk and Krakow, the managers of large Polish companies, universities, representatives of the public, young people and the citizens of Kazakhstan, in total about 2 thousand lovers of ballet, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.

One-act ballets by various trends and styles gave the opportunity to familiarize with a rich repertoire of the dance group. The Polish viewers and sophisticated connoisseur of the ballet praised the professionalism of the young Kazakhstani artists.

Audience has been also delighted the creative harmony of national culture reigning in representation with world classics and the present. The tours of “Astana Ballet” in Poland undoubtedly contributed to the mutual enrichment of cultures and securing a solid foundation for further strengthening of cooperation between two countries in all areas.
