Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan sign military cooperation plan

Defense Ministers of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed a plan of military cooperation for 2020 on the eve of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Defense Ministries of the CIS countries, the press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Defense reported.

On Oct.29 Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister Bakhodir Kurbanov held a bilateral meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Zakir Hasanov.

Earlier, the military delegation of Uzbekistan has arrived in Baku to participate in the regular meeting of the CIS Council of Defense Ministers .

The meeting of the Council will be held today, Oct.30. It will be attended by heads of defense ministries of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
