Uganda presented new group of power stations at EXPO
In his speech, he added, that a group of power stations is being building which will produce renewable sources of energy.
The sector of energy is a priority and key for successful development of our country. To supply with energy, we at the moment are constructing two power stations in two cities, one of them is planned to finish this year. The third large project with 600-megawatt capacity has been developing, which is constructed by the private sector and financing issues are being discussing. I also note, that the group of power stations will also include underpowered power stations, which will be developed and built by a private sector, within cooperation with foreign companies, Rutazindva Gideon Mvebaze said.
In turn, acting executive secretary of the Ministry of education and science of Kazakhstan Nurseit Baizhanov informed that Kazakhstan is interested in deepening and expanding of trade and economic relations with the Republic of Uganda.
The international exhibition EXPO-2017 is a current topic for the contemporary world and we think that ideas presented in the platform, will be useful not only for Kazakhstan but also for the development of global economy as a whole. Due to its geographic location and climate conditions the Republic of Uganda has a great potential to develop energy from the sun, water and wind, Nurseit Baizhanov.
We also note, that nine years passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Uganda. During this period, good relations, based on mutual reliance and partnership were established.
