Turkmenistan increases volume of electricity export to Kyrgyzstan
The volume of imported electricity from Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan has increased, the press service of the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan OJSC said Friday.
Electric energy is exported to Kyrgyzstan under an agreement on mutual supplies of electric energy with Kazakhstan.
The National Electric Grid added that planned for 2021 supplies of electricity from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan were fulfilled.
Along with this, the sides are currently considering extending the volume of electricity on account of the supplies planned for 2022.
“In connection with the completion of electricity supplies from Uzbekistan the volume of imported electricity from Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan has been increased,” the report said.
