THE TRANSPORTATION OF MANGISTAU SHELLFISH THROUGH THE SEA WAS RESTORED TO RUSSIA
On June 18, 2008, “Bautino” transported about 2,500 tons of Mangystau shells from Aktau port cargo area to Astrakhan through the Caspian Sea.
The last time Bautino was transported through the seaport in 1992. Earlier this product was transported from Kazakhstan by railway.
In Mangistau, the jungle began to produce in the late 1960s. This stone has many qualities, such as durable and high quality building materials.
The unique construction material produced at the Saura open pit will be transported twice a month on a regular basis by the Caspian Trade Center LLC, a VolgaBalt 216 cargo ship of the Astrakhan shipbuilding company.
Representatives of VolgaSNAB LLC Deputy General Director Mikhail Bazelyuk and Commercial Director Nadezhda Staroverova, President of Aktau Port Abay Turkenbayev, Chief of “Bautino” Myrzabek Saktaganov took part in the event.
A.Turkpenbayev informed the guests about the potential of the Kazakhstani port infrastructure and said that the demand for sea freight on the Caspian Sea is increasing.
